Manual: Node Types ↗
Nodes can send and receive packets, establish links, and create destinations that become reachable by other nodes on the network.
Any node can be configured to also become a transport node and/or LXMF propagation node. By default, nodes are only regular instances, being the appropriate mode for end-user devices that primarily consume network services.
NomadNet
In NomadNet, node refers to an instance of the NomadNet application that is visible to other peers on the network, serving pages and files. Peer refers to a user on NomadNet, the default name being Anonymous Peer.
